What a comfort consultation is
We don’t do quick estimates. A comfort consultation is an in-home design visit: we scan your home, run a room-by-room load calculation, and design a system around how you actually live. Then we walk you through your options, in writing.
What happens at your visit
1. We listen first
Tell us what’s wrong: cold bedrooms, high power bills, an old system nobody will service. We ask about your goals for every room.
2. We scan your home
A LiDAR scan with Conduit Tech on our iPad builds a 3D model of your home. No guessing with a tape measure.
3. We run a Manual J
A Manual J heating and cooling load calculation shows what each room needs, so the system is sized right.
4. We design your options
Head locations, outdoor unit placement, line-set routing and equipment choices, shown on your home’s 3D model.
5. We review cost and financing
A clear written proposal, plus financing for qualified customers* and Protection Club options. No pressure to decide on the spot.
You leave with a real plan
3D model of your home

Manual J load calculation
Room-by-room heating and cooling loads. Right-sized, not oversized.
Custom system design
Equipment and layout options built for your home and mountain winters*.
Written proposal and financing review
Equipment, placement, costs and payment options, all in writing.
Plan for 1½ to 2 hours
A good design takes time. One of our comfort advisors comes to your home, walks every room with you and answers your questions.
How to prepare
- Have every decision-maker there. Spouse, partner, family: two hours of details are hard to pass along later.
- Have a recent power or fuel bill handy if you can.
- Make sure we can reach the rooms, attic or basement, and the electrical panel.
- Write down problem rooms and anything you want to ask.

Why this beats a quick quote
A quote is a guess
A price on a piece of paper can’t tell you if a unit fits the room. A load calculation can.
Sizing affects comfort and bills
Too big and it short-cycles. Too small and it can’t keep up on cold nights. Measure first.
